Praveen V. Mummaneni, MD, has been elected a member-at-large of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Executive Committee for a two-year term.
Dr. Mummaneni is the director of minimally invasive and cervical spine surgery at the University of California San Francisco as well as co-director of the UCSF Spine Center. He has completed a fellowship in complex spine surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. During his spine fellowship, he received advanced subspecialty training in adult spinal deformity surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago and at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Mummaneni is a member of the CNS Development Committee and he currently serves as secretary of the CNS/AANS Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves.
