AANS' NREF Awards Post-Residency Clinical Fellowship Grants to 9 Organizations

The Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation, an affiliate of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons announced the recipients of its post-residency, clinical fellowship grant program for the 2014 to2015 academic year.

The foundation reached agreements with DePuy Synthes Spine and Medtronic, both of whichwill provide funding in support of the grant program. The following programs have been awarded fellowship grants:

•    Cleveland Clinic for Spine Health
•    Duke University in Durham, N.C.
•    Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore
•    Rush University Medical Center in Chicago
•    Toronto Western Hospital (University Health Network) in Canada
•    University of California, San Francisco
•    University of Miami
•    University of South Florida/University of Medical Service Association in Tampa
•    University of Toronto in Canada

The Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization created by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons to support research and education efforts.
