The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery announced two new directors-elect, according to an AAOS Now report.
The new directors-elect of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery are William N. Levine, MD, and Rick W. Wright, MD.
Dr. Levine is the vice chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery and its residency director and fellowship co-director. He is also the head team physician for Columbia University and has been chairman of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine's STOP Youth Sports Injuries steering committee.
Dr. Wright is an orthopedic surgeon with Washington University Physicians in St. Louis. He is a recipient of the Neer Award and NCAA Award for his work with NFL athletes.
