The Wilmington, N.C.-based medical device company TranS1 has reached a $6 million agreement with the US Department of Justice to settle a federal investigation.
TranS1, which develops and designs devices for degenerative lower lumber spine conditions, admits no wrongdoing as part of the settlement, according to the report.
The settlement should be finalized within the next few months.
