Of the orthopedic surgeons asked how they thought ACOs would affect their income:
• 9 percent said ACOs will have little or no effect on income
• 26 percent said they will cause a slight decrease in income
• 26 percent said it is too early to know
• 38 percent said it will cause a large decrease in income.
