Zimmer Holdings acquired the business assets of West Chester, Pa.-based Knee Creations, the developer of a proprietary joint preservation treatment Subchondroplasty.
Subchondroplasty involves the use of navigation instruments to inject bone void filler into stress fractures or micro fractures to being healing without violating the joint. The acquisition will build on Zimmer's knee treatment portfolio.
