Evangelica Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Pa., has opened a new Center for Orthopaedics.
The hospital initiated a new joint replacement program in 2005 to address community needs and designed the new center around providing a team approach for orthopedic care. SUN Orthopaedic Group surgeons work with other specialists to care for patients undergoing orthopedic and spine procedures.
The center also includes a rehabilitation gym, mock kitchen and bathroom for occupational rehabilitation and other services to help patients adjust to real-world settings after their surgeries.
